Pensión Mitus is a small hotel in Canet de Mar (in the coast of Barcelona – Maresme), just 50 meters away from a wonderful beach in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Mitus is located in the centre of Canet de Mar and surrounded by a familiar atmosphere. The hotel building dates from 1863 and has been recently renewed, though it preserves all the typical decorative details from the past and it combines them with the services and comforts of modern life.

The hotel has a living room – dinning room, a wonderful garden and a terrace exclusively for our clients, where you can have breakfast, lunch or a drink from our bar/restaurant service.
All the rooms are provided with TV, telephone, free  wifi, air conditioning and a bathroom with a shower or a bathtub. Each room has also got a small balcony with views to the sea or the garden. There are two rooms with a big private terrace and panoramic views.

The hotel offers the clients all kind of information regarding different activities organized in Canet or in the surroundings. The access to the beach is just in front of us, the train station is 200 meters away by foot and all restaurant and shops are very near too.

 Rooms

 All the rooms have been renovated in 2011.All the rooms are provided with a bathroom - some with a shower and some with a bathtub -, TV, telephone, free access to Internet - wifi-, and air conditioning -you can regulate the temperature as you wish-.All the rooms have a balcony o terrace with wonderful views to either the inner garden or the Mediterranean Sea. On the ground floor there are also some rooms that can be used by people with reduced mobility. Finally, we have also got our particular “suite” rooms with a 20 M2 terrace and panoramic views to the sea.

  Garden

Our small garden – we call it “eixida" -, is fresh and very Mediterranean. You will specially enjoy it during spring or summer, while having breakfast or lunch, drinking something or reading. You will also find the most beautiful hibiscus that you have ever seen or our very curious “Claveles del Aire” (Tillandsia Bergeri).
